VENDOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The Sixth Annual Bayou City Breeders’ Expo (BCBE) will be held June 18 & 19, 2005 in Houston,Texas at the Clarion Inn, located at 500 North Belt East, between Imperial Valley Dr. and the Hardy Toll Road. The Clarion is very centrally located, just minutes from Greenspoint Mall, Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and downtown Houston, with excellent room rates for us ($59 per night if reserved as part of the BCBE) and all the amenities of a high quality hotel. • Captive bred (CB) animals only - NO EXCEPTIONS - this includes "farm-raised" turtles.
• Bearded Dragons must be a MINIMUM of two inches snout-to-vent length (SVL).
• Vendors selling Dendrobatid frogs must have appropriately sized food insects (fruit flies) available for sale as well.
• No imports, regardless of origin. This includes "farm-raised" imports.
• No animals may be brought in to the expo room by the general public.
• No turtles unless the vendor has satisfied the show proprietor that the turtles are CB and NOT "farm-raised."
• No live mammals or birds, with the exception of feeder mice and rats.
• Insects are allowed, providing they are CB.
• No crocodilians, venomous reptiles or USDI permitted species.
• No alligator snapping turtles or other Texas Parks and Wildlife permitted species.
• No snakes over eight feet in length (prohibited by City of Houston regulations).
• Prohibited animals are not allowed in the expo room for any reason, except as part of the BCBE-organized educational display or for educational purposes for non-profit groups.
• Table reservations are not transferable.
• Names of all personnel at a vendor's table(s) must be furnished with your registration form. Only vendors with BCBE-issued passes are allowed behind the tables. You must notify us no later than June 4, 2005 with any changes to vendor pass names. BCBE has the right to refuse to issue someone a vendor pass.
• Vendors must have their display(s) set up no later than 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
• Vendors may not begin breaking down or packing up displays until 5 p.m. Sunday. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• BCBE event officers have the right to inspect any boxes containing animals and order any animal removed from the expo room. Failure to allow inspection and/or refusal to remove the animal(s) will result in forfeiture of table(s) and removal from the expo. Reasons for animal removal may include, but are not limited to, visible parasites, sickly appearance or question of origin.
• BCBE event officers have the right to order a display or product removed from a vendor's table(s). Refusal to do so will result in forfeiture of table(s) and removal from the expo.
