Typical Venus Flytrap

The 'Typical' Venus Flytrap is anything BUT typical! No matter what age you are, the sheer unique nature of VFTs will have you eagerly watching them yawn for their next meal. Each plant grows from a central point, producing bunches of leaves. These leaves each have a trap at the end, and as their prey touches small trigger hairs on the inside of each trap, the trap SNAPS SHUT, preventing escape.

The Typical variety has the characteristic green coloration and normal eyelash-like guard hairs on their traps. Each order comes with a care sheet containing all the information you will need for years of enjoyment from your new plant!

We currently carry three-inch pots containing one small, two small, or one LARGE Typical Venus Flytrap. We do not sell VFTs bareroot, as we believe the minimal savings versus potted plants does not outweigh the good possibility that bareroot plants may not survive the shipping and transplanting.
