These hybrid pitcher plants are some of the tallest we've seen, and rival ANY species. Their pitchers can get over three feet tall, and have heavily ruffled hoods, as with the White-top Pitcher Plant, Sarracenia leucophylla. However, because of their Sarracenia alata 'Red/Black' parentage, they ALSO have inner hoods and upper pitchers heavily suffused with a deep crimson red. Why buy a smaller plant and have to wait years to enjoy its full size and beauty? These are full-sized, mature rhizomes, and are ready to flower for you their very first year!

As with almost all of the American Pitcher Plants, this clone is very easy to care for, but please follow the instructions in our American Pitcher Plant Care Sheet (included with your order) for best success.
