All orders are shipped out on Monday through Wednesday. Orders must be prepaid for all charges, and we accept cashiers checks, money orders, personal checks and credit cards, although personal checks must clear the bank (usually 4 to 5 days) prior to shipping. We will estimate the freight charges for you if you want to pay them prior to shipment, or we can send it freight collect. We use Delta or Continental to ship, but Delta air freight seems to be slightly more reliable to most destinations. Shipping normally runs from $30.00 up, with Delta two day service being least expensive. All frozen rodent orders will be sent via the least expensive overnight method, depending on the total weight of the shipment. ALL snakes must be sent via air freight; not a single express carrier (UPS, Fedex, Airborne, USPS) will take snakes if they know what is in the package. For snakes, we prefer shipping Delta Dash, which almost always gets your order there the same day we ship it. Cost for Dash service (as of July 2000) is $62.69 for up to 50 pounds, and we can put frozen rodents in with your reptile purchase to help defray the shipping costs. Lizards can be sent Priority Mail, which is generally less expensive than air freight.
