This is one of the best of the wooley sundews from Australia, and an easy one to grow! This sundew is highly sought after, even by sundew hobbyists and collectors. The entire center and leaf stems of these plants are covered with downy hairs, giving the entire plant a wooley appearance. And at the end of each leaf stem is a small, paddle-shaped leaf, covered with bright red dewy tentacles. As with all sundews, these sticky tentacles capture small insects, and even move together to trap the insect and pull it down to the leaf surface, where it is digested.

February 2008 UPDATE - Many of these plants are putting up multiple flower stalks per plant. Supplies of these plants are very limited, and are sure to go fast. So get them while they last!

All sundews are sold potted and ready to grow. We do not sell sundews bareroot, as we believe the minimal savings versus potted plants does not outweigh the good possibility that bareroot sundews may not survive the stresses of shipping and transplanting.
