Drosera kenneallyi
Plants shown are representative of our plants in
3-inch pots.
This sundew is bonzer, mate! (That's Australian for
fantastic!) Closely related to Drosera
falconeri, this sundew is highly sought after,
even by sundew hobbyists and collectors. As with all species of Drosera, the paddle-shaped leaves are
covered with dewy tentacles. These sticky tentacles capture small insects, and even
move together to trap the insect and pull it down to the leaf surface, where it is
digested. Occasionally, the leaves will even roll up over slightly larger
insects!
Supplies of these plants are very limited, and they
are sure to go fast. And the larger ones will be sent out first, so get them while
they last!
This tray of kenneallyi sundews in 3-inch pots isn't
selected for photographing; this is what we sell!
All sundews are sold potted and ready to grow. We do not
sell sundews bareroot, as we believe the minimal savings versus potted plants does
not outweigh the good possibility that bareroot sundews may not survive the stresses of
shipping and transplanting.
